All Weather Featured on HGTV’s New Hit Show “Backed by the Bros”
All Weather was featured on this week’s Loose Cannon episode of HGTV’s new hit show Backed by the Bros. The Property Brothers faced their biggest mentorship challenge to date as they chose to back John, a 21-year-old rookie investor who bought his first property, a $1.35 million dollar beach house in Venice Beach, CA.
John wants the property to be a luxurious, premium short-term rental, vacation property and has already sunk $150,000 into renovations to bring the building up to code. The project is still a long way from being finished as Drew and Jonathan Scott step in to help navigate and oversee John’s million-dollar fixer upper to make the home upscale without going overboard on budget and timeline
Despite getting a little carried away with change orders, budget and timeline, the finished space looks fantastic. The open-air kitchen and living room are complete with light finishes and pops of color. The red steel Z frame below the countertop signifies the name of the property: “The Zen-ice Beach House.” A large Series 6000 Corner Window brightens the entire space.
The primary bedroom feels luxurious as Series 7000 French Swing doors and Series 6100 windows allow natural daylight to fill the room, and changing the fireplace’s facade into a more sleek design makes the room feel both modern and cozy
The guest house is just as elegant with automatic blinds, a modern Murphy bed, bar area, and bespoke lighting. Almost every door and window in the space either opens up to the backyard or features large expanses of glass, which exudes that luxury feel.
Both the guest house and the main house have large Series 8100 Multi Slide glass doors that blend the interior space with the exterior space seamlessly..
To complete the upscale experience, John included a cold plunge, hot tub, sauna, and fire pit to create a backyard retreat.
